This is a color study I made for a larger piece. In 2021, my Mom and I got the opportunity to hike the Zion narrows from top to bottom. It was a magical overnight trip and gave us the rare and precious experience of experiencing one of the parks most famous attractions in complete solitude.

This piece is inspired by the dappled light in early morning as it started to dance its way down the creek bed.
