Lee’s Ferry holds such a special place in my heart. This is the place that every river trip through the Grand Canyon begins. Looking downstream at dawn on launch day fills me in a way few places ever have. I’ve spent so many hours in this magical liminal space between the world at large, and the strange, sacred journey through time that is Grand Canyon.
