Wild Arizona
As Wild Arizona’s digital media associate (2019-2021), I had the opportunity to use my design skills in support of Wild Arizona’s wonderful conservation and restoration work. My work there included running social media accounts, creating interactive story maps, designing trail logos, fundraising campaigns, education and merchandise.
As part of my work for Wild Arizona, I created an interactive ArcGis story map for their years long Arnett Creek Restoration project. This project combined graphic design, storytelling, and education into one and served as a digestible and informative presentation to supporters of Wild Arizona.
Restoring Arnett Creek
As part of my work with Wild Arizona, I developed their Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok accounts. Our follower count doubled in my first year without the use of any paid promotion. Our primary focus was outreach and engagement, with social media being our primary engine for finding new supporters and volunteers.
Social Media Development
While working for Wild Arizona, I also developed a line of merchandise that served as uniforms for Trail Crew members and as promotional material for supporters.
